WeatherLink Mobile brings the Davis WeatherLink Network to your iPhone. This network of Davis stations is fed by thousands of businesses, schools, and hobbyists who have chosen to share their data with the world. Adding your own station is easy, and requires only a permanent Internet connection, a nice place to put your outdoor sensors, and a few hundred dollars burning a hole in your pocket. The interface was designed to take full advantage of the iPhone platform, and includes many standard features found in your favorite apps. Note: Support for NOAA data and NOAA stations was discontinued in version 1.3 due to irregular data availability and inconsistent NOAA feed.

That is unacceptable!! This wasn’t the best app but it worked. If it ain’t broken,don’t fix it!! Especially not with something less user friendly. The developer sells a device (WeatherLink) for a high price (which includes lifetime subscription) to get my weather info free onto the Internet. It’s not “free” if it requires everyone who wants to check my weather to log in and surrender an email address!! I will replace my weatherstation with another brand if this continues.

Get the realtime weather out of your console and in into your computer then into the world. WeatherTracker started with a need to have more real-time weather data than the National Weather Service could provide me through.
My first weather station was the original Davis Vantage Pro since they released their communications specifications publicly so it was the easiest to program. My first version was created in October 2004 and it was in perpetual beta until January 2010 with updates sometimes coming fast and sometimes very slow.
But I've rededicated myself to the project with the addition of the new Oregon Scientific WMR100 and soon WMR200 stations. I welcome all suggestions on what features need to be added to the program. Help Me Get Started!
